Maleflixxx, QueerClick Partner for VOD Deal

TORONTO — Video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx has struck a deal with gay blog QueerClick to launch QueerClickMovies.com, the blog’s new VOD theatre. Maleflixxx is a subsidiary of Sureflix Digital Distribution.

“We’ve worked with QueerClick to promote our exclusive studio partners over the past year,” Sureflix President Eric Johnson said. “Their unique reach into the international gay community makes them an ideal partner as Maleflixxx expands its horizons and continues building global relationships."

Launched in 2004, Queerclick.com is an online source for gay community and adult industry news, available in English, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish, with frequent daily updates.

“We met with Maleflixxx at Internext and talked about different ways we could partner to more effectively utilize each others strengths,” QueerClick’s Dan said. “They had a simple, effective way of partnering that allows us both to focus on our core strengths and grow together. The simplicity and uniqueness of their solutions made them an easy choice. The addition of video-on-demand to the network will be a natural fit, allowing our consumers to instantly rent movies featured on QueerClick.”

Both companies are hoping that the partnership will create cross-promotional opportunities, by providing QueerClick users with easy access to Maleflixxx’s exclusive roster of gay studios, including Hot House Entertainment, Blue Blake, Kristen Bjorn, Can-Am Productions, Lucas Kazan, Lucas Entertainment and BelAmi, among others.
